C.P. Jefferies can supply and install either wet or electrical underfloor heating.
Wet underfloor heating system
Wet underfloor heating circulates water through a succession of continuously looped pipes underneath the floor, resulting in the entire floor becoming the heat source and warming your home from the floor upwards.
Electric underfloor heating system
Electric underfloor heating relies on a network of wires under your floor that heat up. It is easier and cheaper to install than a wet based system, but it is more expensive to run making it better suited to smaller areas.
All underfloor heating systems can be divided into zones and each zone is controlled independently. Underfloor heating is ideally suited to a stone floor but can be installed under other floors. You can have a combination of radiators and underfloor heating across your home. The choice is yours.
The room will have an even heat throughout, which is not always the case with a traditional central heating system. There are no pipe joints under the floor which eliminates the possibility of leaking pipework.
It allows more space for positioning furniture as there are no radiators on the walls.
Underfloor heating systems can save you money on your heating bills as it requires a lower water temperature and is ideal for use with modern condensing boilers.
